Santa's giving away Bowl Games

The flaws that still existed were exposed by Wisconsin in a forgetful B1G 10 championship game for the Huskers.  Before the game most felt the Huskers were a favorite against the Badgers.

But by mid-second quarter Wisconsin was up 35-10 and Nebraska ‘s Rose Bowl dreams had wilted on a cold Indianapolis night.

Instead of making a Big Red march to Pasadena, the Huskers will be spending the holidays with the Georgia Bulldogs in Orlando.  It’s an eerily similar matchup of two teams that re-gifted BCS bowls back to conference rivals.

It’s this year’s theme of the bowl season. As the holiday cheers reach the winning teams and bowl games approach, many teams have themselves to thank.  But they might also want to send a Christmas card to the teams who couldn’t get the job done.
