Elections will be held on Tuesday, March 5. Polls will be open in the Milo Bail Student Center, Criss Library and Mammel Hall from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.Students can also vote through an email link or  online at sguno.unomaha.edu.Results will be announced that evening in the Milo Bail Student Center Fireplace Lounge.

Year: Junior

Why we should vote: I am running for re-election for Arts & Sciences Senator because the voices of the UNO students deserve to be heard. I want to continue strengthening those voices. After all, this is our school. What we say matters. I believe that is sometimes forgotten. I'm here to remind everyone that we are more than just a collection of students. WE are UNO. While our stories aren't always similar, at the end of the day we share a common goal. That goal is to cross that stage, get that degree, and better ourselves, our futures, and the future generations to come.

Three issues concerned with: North campus meal plan, campus security and installing a house of faith on campus for all religions.

Why we should vote: am well informed, conscious of current issues related to our university, and I think I will represent the college of arts and science well.

Why we should vote: I’d like to get more involved with the student body and make campus more eco-friendly.

Year: Freshman

Why we should vote: I believe students should vote for me because I have experience in this position already. I have been one of the senators for the College of Arts and Sciences for this past year and I have several great ideas for next year. I want to improve sustainability on campus by reducing waste from disposable water bottles and I would like to update buildings on campus to improve the educational experience for students.

Why we should vote: I was the Freshman class senator last semester and served on the sustainability committee. I really enjoyed representing the Freshmen class and would represent the CBA to the best of my abilities.

College of Public Affairs and Community Service

Major: Aviation

Year: Sophomore

Why we should vote: I take initiative when it comes to getting things done and I want to see even more change on UNO's campus.
