Flu Shots offered by Health Services

UNO Health Services will hold a flu shot open house on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at its office located in HPER 102. Cookies and cider will be served to everyone who receives a flu shot during the open house. The cost of the flu shots will be $15 for students who present their Mav card and $20 for faculty, staff and anyone that doesn’t attend UNO.  Cash, checks and credit cards are all accepted forms of payment. If you can’t make the open house, Health Services will also be offering flu clinics around campus beginning in October. 

Dates and times for the flu clinics will be: Tuesday, Oct. 2 in ASH in the first floor break area from 10 a.m. until noon and in the University Village Clubhouse from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3 in Scott Village’s study room from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and in the Library Atrium from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8 by MBSC’s south doors from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and in the Maverick Village game room from 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10 in the PKI room 100A from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and in the Mammel Hall Atrium from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The final day for the Health Services’ flu clinics will be Friday, Oct. 12 in CPACS room 132D from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. 

If none of these dates and times fit into your schedule, Health Services will offer flu shots in HPER 102 beginning Friday, Sept. 28, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Don’t forget to wear appropriate clothing for a shot in the arm.
