Classes canceled Thursday

UNO has canceled all classes and activities on campus Thursday in abundance of caution for students, faculty and staff.

While the storm isn't expected until afternoon, UNO is canceling to avoid putting people at risk during afternoon and evening travel. 

Thursday's closure will also allow UNO to clear sidewalks and campus streets to hopefully hold classes Friday.

A decision on Friday's classes will be made prior 5 a.m. on Friday.
