Thieves are targeting cars on campus for their parts. Campus Security has received reports of catalytic converters being stolen from vehicles in the last two months. All vehicles have been Toyota 4-Runner’s. Thefts occurred in the St. Margaret Mary’s parking lot, on the Pacific Campus and in Elmwood Park.

A van is reported to be involved with one of the thefts at St. Margaret Mary’s. The van is described as a white panel van with one window on the driver side and three windows on the passenger side. A second suspect vehicle is a 2000, black Ford Taurus.

Students, faculty and staff should be alert to suspicious vehicles prowling parking lots or double parking near high ground clearance vehicles.

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact Campus Security at 402-554-2911.
