The Sarpy County Tobacco Coalition sponsored "The Faces of Tobacco," an art exhibit on Friday in the William H. and Dorothy Thompson Alumni Center at UNO.
The exhibit was funded by Tobacco Free Nebraska and has more than 30 partner organizations.
The traveling exhibit is a showcase of different photographs depicting the harsh realities of tobacco use in American society today.

The UNO Student Senate met for a short meeting on Thursday to approve a letter of statement and then held a mock-senate meeting to assist first-time senators in learning the ropes.

Pathways to Harmony set for today
A new and updated Pathways to Harmony program, which explores diversity issues, is scheduled for today in the Milo Bail Student Center Dodge Room from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.

Saturday, Oct. 6
2:13 a.m. While on patrol, a Campus Security officer witnessed alcohol consumption at Scott Village. One UNO student and four high school students were apprehended for minor in possession. Alcohol was confiscated and individuals were referred for disciplinary action.
