Principal of least interest: Concept proves true for relationships too
Psst. You there! Yes, you. Wanna know a secret? Of course you do. So, there is this little thing from way back in 1938 (when sociologist William Waller coined the phrase) called the principle of least interest, and it is 100 percent true.
Yours truly first read about this concept back in one of her first speech communication classes at UNO. I read about it, took a test on it, but instead of forgetting about it like we all usually do, I pocketed it for future reference. After all, I need all the help and advice I can get in relationships, and I have a sneaking suspicion one of our lovely UNO professors is a better source of information than my mother.

First ever Dishcrawl hits the Omaha metro
On April 23, the first ever Dishcrawl will be hitting the Omaha metro.
Founded in San Jose, Calif., Dishcrawl is a play on the popular events called “barcrawls” in which participants travel around different bars, seeing what each one has to offer.
